What type of information we have
We currently collect and process the following information:
Email addresses via our newsletter sign up form. These email addresses are stored for the purposes of sending our newsletter only.
Names, email addresses, postcodes and Equality & Diversity Monitoring data of those who apply to be part of our work placement scheme. This information is only used for communication in relation to the work placement scheme.
Names, email addresses, Equality & Diversity Monitoring data of participants in our training and consultancy offers. This information is used to help us develop tailored support to our partners.
How we get the information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
To sign up to our newsletter
To apply for our work placement scheme
To create custom-made recruitment, training sessions and activities for our partners
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting tessa@collaborativefuture.co.uk
(f) We have a legitimate interest.
What we do with the information we have
We use the information that you have given us in order to send you newsletters. We do not use the newsletter sign ups for any other purpose.
We use the information that you give us via our application form to communicate with you about our work placement scheme and decide if you have been successful in your application.
We may share the information of successful applicants with businesses involved in delivering the work placements but you will be informed of this before we do so.
We use the information to develop tailored workshops and training sessions for our partners. We do not use share the information with anyone beside the interested organisations and businesses partnering with us.
How we store your information
Your information is securely stored on MailChimp and Typeform.
We keep newsletter sign up data until you unsubscribe. We keep work placement applicant data for 6 months after the work placements have ended. We will then dispose your information by deleting the record from typeform. We may retain aggregate data for reporting purposes only.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
